Unlocking potential,
one child at a time

Right now, millions of children sit in a classroom every day without learning to read or count. Your gift helps their teachers change that, inside the public schools their governments already run.

Choose how to give

Where a child is born still decides whether they learn to read

Imagine being ten and not able to read a simple sentence. Where most of the world’s children live, 7 in 10 children can’t read by age 10. Every later year of school then builds on sand.

What if we can change that? EIDU gives teachers in public schools digital lesson plans and every learner personalised practice, so that no child is left behind, wherever they are born.

What your gift does

Only 13 USD gives one child a whole year of learning*

Lessons that meet them where they are, and a teacher who knows how they’re doing.

A teacher’s story · Nakuru County, Kenya

How Ruth found time for every child

For 11 years, Ruth spent hours on lesson plans and still couldn’t see which of her pre-primary learners were falling behind. Since EIDU came to her classroom in Gilgil, she spends that time on the children instead. Two learners who once couldn’t express themselves now speak up with confidence, and one boy who often missed school told her:

“Teacher, since you brought these phones to us, now I feel that coming to school is fun.”

To everyone who gives: thank you. You are helping a child read her first sentence, and a teacher see that every child in her class can learn.
